NCCE Conducts Trainers Training Progamme

The Trainers Training Programme for Cooperative Education Personnel of State / District Cooperative Unions and Faculty Members of Training Centres of India consisting of 51 participants from the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telanagana, Orissa and West Bengal attended the programme. The prime objective of the programme was to understand the importance of training in cooperative organizations, design need based training programmes, optimal utilization of the resources available for training and implement training programmes systematically & professionally, new schemes and policies of Government of India and State Government for development of cooperative sector and recent changes in cooperative law and its effect among cooperatives.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri Shivdasan Nair, Governing Council Member of NCUI in his address he narrated that all State Cooperative Unions need to promote the personnel to acquaint with the training programmes in a systematic way so that personnel can work in professional manner in implementation of training programmes by optimally utilizing available human resources. Training is the tool for removing hindrance in the cooperatives and uplifting of skill as well as capacity building of Board of Directors and employees. Hence, training programme should be need based and more effective. Sh. N. Satya Narayana, Chief Executive, NCUI in his remarks said that State Cooperative Unions, need to take up the more effective role for implementation of more and more training programmes in a professional manner. In this direction, NCUI is always providing all support for effective implementation of the training programmes. Therefore, states should come forward to take the advantage with the programmes for overall development of Cooperative Movement in the country.
During the occasion Dr. V. K. Dubey, Director, NCCE emphasized the significance of the effective training programme for cooperative development in states. He further elaborated how for the training programme will be effective for personnel and factors leading to training programmes with the examples.

Besides these, deliberations were made by the experts from Government of India and different renowned institutions to systematic approach for effective training, inter- personal communication skill, development of different training methods, structure and functioning of cooperative education, team-building, evaluation methods, project preparation and diversification of business, schemes and policies of government of India, specially for cooperative, HRD, media, GST, IT & Communication, e-banking, cooperative law, problems and challenges before cooperatives education and strategies to come out were discussed. The participants interacted in each and every session, and brought some suggestions.

As a part of the study visit, the participants visited National Cooperative Development Corporation, New Delhi where Sh. Mukesh Kumar, Executive Director, NCDC welcomed all the participants from various states. In his presentation, he focussed on issues relating to schemes under implementation, activities assisted, mode of funding, norms of direct funding and schemes pattern of assistance. Participants got very good inputs and interacted. During the interactive session participants raised queries and were all cleared by the presenter. They were of the opinion that there should be two such type of programme in a calendar year. The participants also got inputs from the programmes for effective implementation of the training models. The programme was concluded on 18 th May 2018. The officials from Government of India, Managing Directors, Experts from training institutes from different National level Organizations and Faculty of NCCE were also present. The overall programme has been coordinated by Dr. A. R. Srinath, Deputy Director and he proposed a vote of thanks on the occasion.
