Foreign Delegation

  • A delegation of 7 high level Government officials from Nepal led by Secretary, Ministry of Land Management Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation (MoLCPA), Govt. of Nepal along with Joint Secretary, Under Secretary, Director & Project Managers, who visited NCUI, IFFCO, AMUL & successful cooperatives in Gujarat and Maharashtra during the period from 22-28 December 2021. The objective of the visit was to exchange experience between the cooperatives of two countries in the field of agricultural production and marketing. The delegation had a fruitful discussion with Dr Sudhir Mahajan, Chief Executive and other senior officers of NCUI on 22 Dec 2021.
  • An Iranian Delegation headed by Mr. Bahman Abdollahi, President, Iran Chamber of Cooperatives (ICC) visited National Cooperative Union of India on 3rd March 2022. The President, NCUI, President, ICA-AP and KRIBCHO, Chief Executive, NCUI, Executive Director (IR) and other senior officers of NCUI also joined the interaction meeting organized in the honour of the Iranian delegation. The IR division coordinated their visit to IFFCO, KRIBHCO and ICA-AP. The objective of the visit was to strengthen bilateral relationship with India in promotion of Cooperative Business Model, find cooperation projects and believing that the cooperation in the field of cooperative sector would benefit both parties.
  • Visit of High-level Brazilian delegation to India from 4 to 11 October 2025
    The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) facilitated the visit of a high-level Brazilian delegation to India from 4 to 11 October 2025, led by Mr. Astrogildo Gonçalves Peixoto, Vice-President, OCB Goiás. OCB Goiás integrates the Organization of Brazilian Cooperatives (OCB) and the National Service for Cooperative Learning (Sescoop). The delegation, comprising around 16 leaders from dairy cooperatives of Goiás along with representatives of Brazil’s national cooperative system, also visited IFFCO, AMUL, NDDB, and the Mother Dairy Plant, Delhi.
  • Visit of Associate Professor, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, to NCUI on 03.03.2026
    NCUI pleased to host Dr. Paul Thambar, Associate Professor, Monash Business School, Monash University, Melbourne Australia. The recent initiatives and overview of the Indian Cooperative Movement & NCUI’s activities was presented by Mr. Ritesh Dey, Executive Director (IR), in the presence of Mr. Ashish Dwivedi, Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Executive Directors, and Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, Assistant Director (IR). The “Coop Kitchen” initiative was highlighted as a model of innovation within the cooperative framework. Dr. Thambar appreciated NCUI’s role and commended the initiative, also enjoyed the hospitality of Coop Kitchen. Engaging with global academia continues to enrich the cooperative movement.
